Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to make and ship your order, and we never sell your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Last updated October 20, 2026.
What we collect

Designs saved on your device
While you design, your work is saved in your browser’s storage on your own device so you can come back to it without an account. It stays on your device until you order, choose "Start fresh," or clear your browser data. When you place an order or email yourself a link, your design is also stored on our servers.
Your artwork
We keep uploaded artwork for 12 months after your last order so reorders are fast, then delete it. Email us any time to delete it sooner. We never sell or publicly display your designs without your written permission.
Analytics, ads and cookies
We measure visits with our own analytics. When you visit, we set a cookie that lasts 30 days and renews each time you come back. It lets us count returning visitors, see which pages and ads lead to orders, and bring back a design you were working on. We don’t share it with other companies. We also use Google Ads to measure which ads lead to orders, and Google’s tools use their own cookies. You can opt out of Google’s ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and you can block cookies in your browser settings. The site and order builder still work without cookies, but saved designs won’t follow you between visits.
Website chat assistant
The chat on our website is an AI assistant powered by Claude, made by Anthropic. Your messages are saved with the chat so our team can follow up, and they are sent to Anthropic to generate replies. Please don’t share payment details in the chat. If you ask for a person, we use the email you give us to reply.
Emails
We send order, proof and shipping emails for every order, and a reminder if you save a design with your email. We only send deals and news if you tick the box to receive them. Every reminder and marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we’ll stop within 10 days of your request.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose: Stripe (payments), USPS and UPS (delivery), Klaviyo (emails), Anthropic (website chat replies), Google (ads measurement), and Cloudflare (website hosting and data storage). We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We don’t sell or rent personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@inksurfstudios.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights, and we’ll honor them.
Children
Our site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use encrypted connections, and payments are processed by Stripe, which is certified to the highest payment-industry security standard. No online service can promise perfect security, but we limit who on our team can access your information.
